The car has been sold and I no longer need this equipment. This brake controller and wiring harness are like brand new. I used it twice on trips, pulling a trailer with my x5 and worked perfectly. I have no mechanical experience, but it was easy to connect just plug in and ran the wire on floor under drivers seat, then placed custom Bmw base prodigy brake controller into cup holder.

It took me less than 5 minutes to complete the installation. It will fit all e70 to Bmw x5s. It fits in the cup holder and I attached wiring harness to a plug rear right side of x5.
